From an Ardèche childhood to your table in Australia
Deliss Artisan started with a craving, a family tradition, and a determination to do it properly.
I grew up in the French countryside, in Ardèche, a region where cured meats are part of everyday life. In every family, butchering a pig and making your own saucisson sec is a tradition, and I was lucky enough to be part of it throughout my childhood.
When I moved permanently to Australia in 2009, it didn't take long before the craving hit. Like any French person down here, I went looking for saucisson sec. It was a quest, and eventually I found some and started a small business to share it with the French community and French food lovers in Brisbane. But over time, I became unhappy with the consistency and the taste, so I decided to create my own range.
Since 2010, our flagship saucissons secs have been delighting the local French community and Australian food lovers alike.
They're made locally, following traditional French recipes and the savoir-faire passed down in my family. We use 100% certified free range pork and we're proud to be the only ones in Australia offering real certified free range pork saucisson sec.

From saucisson to a full artisan table
After a few years, the business grew and so did the ideas. Today, we offer far more than saucisson: cheese, chorizos, pâtés, rillettes, foie gras and more. The list keeps expanding, but the goal hasn't changed.
