Growing in French countryside, in a region well known for the quality of its cured meats (Ardèche), butchering a pig and making your own Saucisson Sec and other charcuterie products is a tradition in every local family, and I had the chance to be part of that all my childhood.
After moving permanently to Australia in 2009 it wasn't long (like any French person down here) before I was craving for Saucisson Sec. I decided to go on a “quest” to find some. It was difficult but I finally found some and started my own business to share it with the French community and French food lovers in Brisbane. But over time, I was unhappy with the consistency and taste so after a few months I decided to have my own range.
So, since 2010, our flagship authentic Saucissons Secs have been delighting the local French community and Australian food lovers alike.
Our Saucisson Sec are made locally following traditional French recipes and savoir faire passed on in my family. They are made using local 100 % certified free range pork from Gooralie Farm, Goondiwindi, QLD.
So, after some years in the business, I decided to open up to new ideas and products. Nowadays we not only offer saucisson, we also offer a variety of other specialties, not only from France but from many countries around the world! Such as Spain, Italy, Australia, etc!
Now we have a large list of products like Spanish chorizos, Australian cheese, French pates and rilletes, and the list goes on and on. But, although our list has expanded, let us tell you that our goal is still the same: “Create experiences that brings people closer. With our products we are confident that you'll be able to create the perfect gathering. It's not just about the food - it's about sharing and caring."
