Comte AOP is a traditional cheese made from raw milk in the Jura Massif region of France for more than 1000 years. The cheese has a unique satiny, ivory-coloured body and a wonderful taste all its own. Aged for around 36 months, Comte develops crispy crystals called, Tyrosine and its flavour is much stronger than an 18- or 24-months cheese. With a particular taste, this cheese may not please every palette.
