Gouda Millennium cheese has a truly unique taste and a crunchy texture. The maturing of this cheese lasts 3 years and is carried out on wooden boards that absorb a large part of the humidity contained in the cheese in order to concentrate the flavours. When melting in your mouth, you will find a deep caramel and hazelnut taste to Gouda Millennium cheese.

This is nothing at all like the familiar supermarket Gouda. This is an expertly made and carefully-aged sophisticated cheese. It's crumbly and rich and sharpish (but not too sharp) - it still has some of the slightly nutty flavour that you get with "ordinary" Gouda but it's so rich and full-bodied and complex that you can just sit with it a graze for ages. Excellent with a good aged white wine with some acidity. I hope you get some new stock of this.

The cheese were exquisite .. a blue a washed rind & 1000 day old Gouda .. and some sausages made right here in Brisbane .. they were some of the best I have ever tasted . Delivered to my door on the sunshine e coast in chilled cooler box .. highly recommended
