Premium Salted Butter from Charentes-Poitou, France (AOP).
Lescure has been making Charentes-Poitou AOP (PDO) butter since 1884, working exclusively with local milk farmers. Slowly cultured to produce a smooth and creamy texture, it has hints of hazelnut and a delicate grassy flavour that sets it apart from ordinary butter.
This is the butter the French reach for when they want to truly savour it. Spread it on a fresh baguette straight from the oven, serve it alongside a saucisson and cornichons, or let it melt over steamed vegetables or a perfectly cooked steak. The fine salt crystals elevate every bite into something memorable.
