The Canele Bordelais is a magical patisserie confection flavoured with rum and vanilla bean. A true Canele de Bordeaux is a cake with a rich custardy interior enclosed by a thin caramelised shell.
Degustation tips:
- Let them come to room temperature for about 10 minutes before indulging!
- Eat it out of your hand as a snack, with a glass of wine (yes!) or a cup of coffee.
- Keep up to 4 days in the fridge, but better to enjoy within 48h.
- After 48h, you can always warm them up in the oven to bring them back to life! 220 degrees for about 6 minutes and let them rest a few minutes minutes before serving!
