Rich with paprika, smooth enough to spread straight from the packet: Sobrasada is one of Spain's most underrated cured meats.

Sobrasada originates from Majorca, where it has been made for centuries using ground pork, sweet paprika and a careful cure that gives it that distinctive deep-red colour and silky, spreadable texture. Bold, flavoursome and incredibly versatile, ours is made in Australia to that same traditional recipe.

It needs no cooking. Spread it cold on toasted bread, melt it gently over scrambled eggs, stir it through a paella or use it to add depth to a stew. The flavours intensify with a little heat, but it is just as good straight from the packet.

Pure pork. Gluten free. Nut free. Sold by weight, as a cut from a whole piece (cryovac). It is fresh Sobrasada (not aged), but ready to eat.

How to Enjoy Sobrasada?

On a charcuterie board
Spread onto crusty bread or crackers alongside a sharp cheese. It pairs particularly well with a young manchego or a creamy brie.

Warm, on toast
Gently warm in a pan and serve on sourdough with a drizzle of honey. Simple and seriously good.

In cooking
Stir through scrambled eggs, fold into a paella, or use as a base for stews and pasta sauces. It melts into dishes beautifully.

How to store Sobrasada
Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 2 weeks. Best before date on packaging.
