What makes Whole (Entier) Duck Foie Gras Mi-Cuit different?
Not all Foie Gras is the same. This is a Foie Gras Entier, meaning it comes from a single lobe with no blending or pressing. The result is a more complex texture and a deeper, more nuanced flavour than a bloc. If you want to taste Foie Gras at its most pure, this is it.
And because it is Mi-Cuit (semi-cooked rather than fully cooked), it keeps all the richness that a glass jar version loses. The difference is immediately obvious.
Gently cooked, not overcooked
Low temperature cooking locks in the delicate aroma and full flavour. No shortcuts, no compromise.
How to enjoy it
Straight from the fridge on toasted bread is all you need. For something more impressive, pan-fry a slice on a screaming hot pan, 30 seconds each side, and lay it over an eye fillet for a Tournedo Rossini. Or try it with a high-marble Wagyu if you want to go off-script. Decadent and worth it.
Got leftovers?
Slice what you need, wrap the rest tightly and pop it in the freezer. The flavour and texture hold up perfectly.
How much do you need?
Around 50g to 75g per person as a starter. Budget a little extra for Christmas or New Year.
