Our Hot Saucisson Sec takes its inspiration from the Basque county saucisson with espelette chili. Even though we don't use that specific chili, the result is very close with a very aromatic, medium heat saucisson, not burning hot, that will enhance any drink or cheese you choose to pair with it.
If you enjoy a little spice in your charcuterie, this one is definitely for you.
What makes Hot Saucisson different?
While our traditional Saucisson Sec is pure and classic, our Provence and Pastis variants bring aromatic complexity, the Hot Saucisson is the one for those who want a genuine little kick. Medium heat, bold flavour, and the same authentic French base recipe made right here in Brisbane.
